Monday, February 24, 2014       SUDDEN DEATH INVESTIGATION   C14-39726 On February 23, 2014 at 5:45 p.m., officers responded to the report of an injured male being located at the rear of a residence located in the 600 block of Harbison Avenue East.   The male was confirmed deceased and positively identified as a 43 year-old-male.    At this time, the investigation has revealed that the male had been drinking with several other people at a residence nearby. At one point during the gathering he became verbally aggressive toward other partygoers. Due to his behaviour, he was asked to leave resulting in a minor physical altercation. The male was forced out of the residence.   It appears that the male collapsed nearby after which time police and other emergency personnel were summoned.   Members of the Homicide Unit are investigating and conducting numerous interviews. No charges have been laid at this time.   The cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
