Commercial Robbery C14-64118
On March 29, 2014 at approximately 11:50 A.M a lone male suspect entered a convenience store in the 600 block of Ellice Avenue. Once inside, he walked around the store and gathered some assorted items. He then attended to the cashier where he produced a knife and stole an amount of cash from the register and fled the area.
The cashier was not injured and the suspect is described as:
Male, Aboriginal in appearance, 5'7 5'8, Average build, tan skin and was wearing a black toque, black winter jacket, black sweat pants and black shoes with white trim.
The Major Crimes Unit is investigating.
Robbery C14-64200
On March 29, 2014 at approximately 2:40 P.M the victim was walking in the area of Sargent Avenue and Sherbrook Street. The suspect grabbed the victim's purse from behind and took off running. Two bystanders pursued the suspect however ceased when the suspect brandished a gun and pointed it at them. The suspect then fled the area. The suspect is described as:
Male, Aborginal in appearance, approximately 20 years old,5'6 5'10 with a medium build thin mustache wearing a grey sweater.
The Division 11 Crime Unit is investigating.
