Thursday, May 22, 2014 Commercial Robbery Arrest C13-157177 As previously released -On August 7, 2013 at approximately 10:20 a.m., an armed male suspect entered a jewelry store located in the 100 block of Lombard Avenue. While inside, the suspect demanded everyone to get on the ground and began smashing display cases. The business was robbed of jewelry valued at over $100,000.00. The suspect fled the city. Members of the Major Crimes Unit were notified. On May 16, 2014 at approximately 7:00 p.m., members of the Major Crimes Unit located and arrested the male on Highway #1, west of Ellie, Manitoba. Milorad NIKOLIC, 36 years-old of Toronto has been charged with the following offences due to his alleged involvement: Robbery Disguise with Intent He was remanded into custody. Sexual Assaults C14-103126 On May 20, 2014, between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., two separate incidents were reported to police indicating that an unknown male had groped two 17 year old females while walking in the area of Government Avenue and London Street. The first female victim was groped to the lower body causing her to flee the area. The second victim was approached from behind and grabbed in a "bear hug." The suspect fled and is described as: Male, tanned complexion, 5'11"- 6'00" tall, skinny build, wearing: a dark blue/grey or black hoodie with a white logo/letters/numbers in the middle of the back (possibly Adidas brand), black pants and tan/brown shoes. The investigation is continuing by members of the East District Crime Unit.
