Tuesday, December 23, 2014       FESTIVE SEASON CHECKSTOP PROGRAM - WEEK #3 RESULTS The Winnipeg Police Service Central Traffic Unit has provided the results from the third week of the Festive Season Check Stop Program.    632 - Vehicles stopped 57 – Approved Screening Device (ASD) tests administered 10 – 24 hour suspensions issued (ASD Warnings) 4 – ASD Fails 12 - Drive Impaired / Drive Over 80mg% / Refusal charges(one of which includes Drive Impaired by Drug) 41 – Traffic related Provincial Offence Notices (PON) issued   The Winnipeg Police Service encourages all motorists to have a plan in place before you go out this holiday season. Taking a cab or a bus, contacting Operation Red Nose or simply identifying a designated driver, are some options to consider.
