Tuesday, December 29, 2015       Assault – C15-270315 On Friday, December 25th, 2015 at approximately 6:00 a.m. Winnipeg Police General Patrol units responded to a report of a male assaulted in the area of Ellice Avenue and Maryland Street.     A 23-year old male suffered serious upper body injuries and was transported to hospital, where he remains in stable, but guarded condition.     A suspect in this incident is described as:     Male, aboriginal in appearance Approximately 6 feet in height Thin build Short black hair Wearing all black clothing and red and black coloured high-top runners   The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting the public's assistance in this incident. The investigation is continuing by members of the Division 11 Crime Unit.
