Wednesday, May 30, 2018   Homicide – Update/Request for Public Assistance: C18-111450   On May 28, 2018, at approximately 12:10 p.m., emergency services responded to the report of an injured female at a residence in the first 100 block of Beaumont Bay.   Upon arrival, General Patrol members located an adult female that had been stabbed. She was transported to hospital in critical condition where she succumbed to her injuries.   The deceased has since been identified as Christine Lynnette Barker, a 36-year-old female of Winnipeg.   Homicide Unit investigators have obtained a Canada-wide warrant for the arrest of Hailey Barker, an 18-year-old female of Winnipeg, for Second Degree Murder.   Hailey is described as being 5'6" in height, 135 lbs with a thin build, black hair and brown eyes. No picture is available.   Anyone with information regarding Hailey Barker's whereabouts is asked to call 911.   This investigation is continuing by members of the Homicide Unit.
