Tuesday, August 28, 2018 Drug/Firearms Investigation Arrests: R18-54591 As part of an investigation into the illegal distribution of methamphetamine, the Winnipeg Police Service Street Crime Unit on August 23 executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant on a residence located in the 500 block of Cathedral Avenue. With the assistance of the Tactical Support Team and general patrol officers, 8 adults were removed safely from the home. Investigators seized the following items: · SKS assault rifle with 60 round magazine · Bolt-action 30-06 rifle · Bolt-action 25-06 rifle · Money counting machine · $560 Canadian Currency · Methamphetamine $300 street value · Percocet, $900 street value · Xanax pills · Working Scales · Packaging materials · Case of 3.08 ammumintion As a result, the following people were arrested and charged: Ashley Louie RICHARD, 43, of Winnipeg was charged with: - CDSA 5.2 x 3 - Methamphetamine, Percocet, & Xanax

Geraldine Faye RICHARD, 44, of Winnipeg, has been charged with: - Possess Property Obtained by Crime under $5,000 x 2

- Unauthorized Possession of Firearm x 3
- Possess Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized x 3
A 31-year-old female from Winnipeg was arrested on 2 outstanding warrants of arrest. All of the accused were detained in custody. Firearms Investigation Arrests: C18-185006 On August 25, 2018, members of the Winnipeg Police Street Crime Unit executed a Firearms Search Warrant on a residence located in the 100 block of Jefferson Avenue. Officers from numerous units assisted in the operation, including members from East District Community Support, General Patrol officers from North and Central Divisions and the Tactical Support Team. As part of the investigation a related vehicle was stopped in the 1600 block of Main Street. Two adult males and an adult female were removed from the vehicle and arrested. A saw-off .22 rifle, and 2 air-soft pistols were seized as well as a quantity of methamphetamine and prescription drugs. An adult male was arrested in front the residence on Jefferson Ave. Officers seized an unloaded 30-06 rifle, soft-body-armour and ammunition. Tyson Paul COLFORD, 31, of Winnipeg, was charged with 13 firearms related offences, as well as charges related to possession of property obtained by crime, proceeds of crime and drug trafficking charges (methamphetamine). James Glen HOULE, 29, of Winnipeg, faces a total of 16 criminal charges related to firearms, possession of methamphetamine and possession of property obtained by crime. Raechel Marie DUECK, 29, of Winnipeg, faces a total of 8 criminal charges related to firearms, possession of methamphetamine and possession of property obtained by crime.
