FESTIVE SEASON CHECKSTOP PROGRAM - WEEK #4 RESULTS
The Winnipeg Police Service Central Traffic Unit has provided the results from the third week of the Festive Season Check Stop Program. 
 
851 - Vehicles were stopped
47   - Approved Screening Device (ASD) Tests were administered
4     - 24 hour suspensions were issued (ASD Warns)
18   - Drive Impaired/Over/Refusal Charges
8     - Traffic Related Provincial Offence Notices were issued

The Winnipeg Police Service Central Traffic Unit has provided the final results from the Festive Season Check Stop Program. 
 
4069 - Vehicles were stopped
112   - Approved Screening Device (ASD) Tests were administered
16     - 24 hour suspensions were issued (ASD Warns)
42     - Drive Impaired/Over/Refusal Charges
86     - Traffic Related Provincial Offence Notices were issued
9       - Suspended Drivers
4       - Other arrests
 
Break down:
Impaired arrests:
Highest BAC (blood alcohol concentration) = 300 MG%
Lowest BAC = 60 mg%
Average BAC = 156 mg%
 
36 males
6 females
 
Average age = 31 years
Oldest = 55 years
Youngest = 20 years
