STRONG ARM ROBBERY - C13-14356
On January 21, 2013 at approximately 8:45 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to report of a strong arm robbery that had just occurred in the 500 block of Langside Street.
A female victim was returning home in the area when she was confronted by 2 male suspects and robbed of her purse. The victim was conveyed to hospital in stable condition.
The suspects are described as follows:
#1. Male, 16 – 17 years old, Aboriginal in appearance, 5'4" – 5'5", skinny build, wearing black coloured clothing.
#2. Male, 16 – 17 years old, Aboriginal in appearance, shorter than suspect 1, wearing a black jacket and black pants.
The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter is asked to contact police at 204 986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204 786-TIPS (8477).
INDECENT ACT - R13-4668
On January 18th, 2013 at approximately 2:30 p.m. a student from a local school was waiting for a bus in the 1200 block of Grant Ave. At this time an unknown male approached the area was seen to be exposing himself.
The suspect is described as: Caucasian male in his 30's, approximately 5'8", medium build, black hair, black facial hair with crooked teeth wearing a black jacket.

RESIDENTAL BREAK & ENTER – ARRESTS - C13-14321
On January 21, 2013 at approximately 9:30 p.m. members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a report of a residential break & enter in progress in the 100 block of Willowdale Place. Upon arrival officers located and arrested two suspects inside the residence.
Brent James NEPINAK, 18 years of Winnipeg has been charged with Break and Enter with Intent and Breach of Probation.
Blake Allan MORAND, 26 years of Winnipeg has been charged with Break and Enter with Intent, Robbery with Violence (separate incident), Fail to Comply with Conditions of Recognizance X 3.
Both were detained in custody.
ASSAULT INVESTIGATION – ARREST C13-12698
As previously reported 0n January 19, 2013 emergency personnel responded to a residence located in the 500 block of College Avenue regarding a serious assault.
Attending members located a 25 year old male with serious upper body injuries. The victim was transported from the scene in critical condition and he remains in critical, but stable condition at this time.
On January 21 after an investigation by the Major Crime Unit a suspect turned himself into Winnipeg Police.
Shawn Patrick McDOUGALL, 20 years of Winnipeg has been charged with Aggravated Assault. He was detained in custody.
