Winnipeg Police Service News Release:

Tuesday, January 29, 2013     COMMERCIAL BREAK & ENTER ARREST – C13-018326 On Monday, January 28, 2013 at approximately 12:00 a.m. a Commercial Break & Enter occurred in the 300 block of Stanley Street.  The owner of the business discovered that a vehicle had been stolen and notified police.   At approximately 12:50 a.m. the stolen vehicle was observed by police in the area of Pacific Avenue and Isabel Street.  The vehicle was stopped and the lone male occupant taken into custody without incident.   James Adrian Joseph DELORME, 53 years of Winnipeg has been charged with: Break & Enter Theft over $5,000.00 DELORME was detained at the Provincial Remand Centre.     CANADA WIDE WARRANT ARREST – C13-018633 In December of 2012 Cyrel Douglas APETAGON, 30 years of Calgary was released from the Bowden Institution in Alberta with several court ordered conditions.  APETAGON soon failed to comply with his conditions and a Canada Wide Warrant of Arrest for Breach of Recognizance was issued.  APETAGON subsequently fled to Winnipeg to evade capture.   Members of the Manitoba Integrated Warrant Apprehension Unit (MIWAU) were advised by the Calgary Police Service of the accused's likely presence in their jurisdiction.   On Monday, January 28, 2012 APETAGON was located by MIWAU members in the 800 block of Main Street and taken into custody without incident.   APETAGON has been detained at the Provincial Remand Centre where he is awaiting his return to Calgary.   For further information contact either: Constable Jason Michalyshen, Public Information Officer Constable Eric Hofley, Public Information Officer Office: (204)986-3061 Fax: (204) 986-3267 Email: WPS-PIO@Winnipeg.ca   Web: www.winnipeg.ca/Police
