Winnipeg Police Service News Release:

**UPDATE**   Friday, January 25, 2013     DRUG INVESTIGATION - ARRESTS C13-16412 On January 24, 2013 members of the Winnipeg Police Service Canine Unit and Street Crime Unit became involved in a drug investigation which led them to the Rail Station located in the 100 block of Main Street.   At approximately 10:35 p.m., officers located and seized the following drugs and cash located in a baggage car.   50 lbs. of Marihuana – estimated street value $150,000.00 $2400.00 Canadian currency   Two males from the Ontario area were identified and placed under arrest.   Allan Norman CASWELL, 24 years and Christopher Mario MAZZUCA, 22 years have been charged with the following offences due to their alleged involvement:   Trafficking in Controlled Drug or Substance Possessing Substance for the Purposes of Trafficking Possess Proceeds of Crime   Both males were detained.      For further information contact either: Constable Jason Michalyshen, Public Information Officer Constable Eric Hofley, Public Information Officer Office: (204)986-3061 Fax: (204) 986-3267 Email: WPS-PIO@Winnipeg.ca   Web: www.winnipeg.ca/Police
