BREAK AND ENTER INVESTIGATION C13-98754
On May 24, 2013 at approximately 2:00 a.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a residence located in the area of Wellington Crescent and Cockburn Street North regarding a break and enter incident that just occurred.
 
The investigation has revealed that an unknown male gained entry into the home and made contact with a female youth while she was asleep. The victim was not injured however it is believed that the suspect's intentions were sexual in nature.
 
Patrol members and members of the Canine Unit searched the area. No arrest has been made at this time.

The investigation is continuing by members of the Sex Crimes Unit with the assistance of the Forensic Identification Unit.
 
The suspect is described as a: Black male, between 20 and 30 years of age, average build, bald or closely shaved hair, having spots or freckles on his face.
