PROJECT RECALL - MALE ARRESTED
On Monday April 29, 2013 the Winnipeg Police Serviced announced that in February of 2013, members of the Street Crime Unit initiated Project Recall which focussed on information gathering pertaining to the Mad Cow street gang and their involvement in illegal drug activities. 
 
All but one of the ten identified suspects were arrested and the service requested the media and public's assistance in locating 18 year old Terryl IZZARD of Winnipeg.
 
On Tuesday, April 30, 2013, IZZARD was located in the downtown area and taken into custody without incident.  He has been detained at the Provincial Remand Centre.
 
The Winnipeg Police Service would like to thank the media and public for their assistance.
 
 
MALE SHOT – C13-80450
On Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at approximately 9:30 p.m. members of the Winnipeg Police Service were dispatched to the area of Alfred Street and Burrows Avenue for the report of a male having been shot.
 
Attending officers located a 25 year old male suffering from lower body injuries.  The male was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter or the identity of the suspect(s) is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
