WPS & 4LIFE ARE TAKING KIDS TO SEE THE GAME
For the past 5 months, the Winnipeg Police Service has been working in partnership with the 4Life Foundation, a non-profit charity, both determined to make a difference in neighbourhoods throughout our city.

As the challenges facing our inner city youth don't stop when school is out, a drop-in program is being run by 4Life with our cadets and police members at Dufferin School.

Today, we are excited to announce that an anonymous donor has generously provided twenty Winnipeg Blue Bomber season tickets to the 4Life foundation.

As a result of this donation, children involved in the 4Life program will get rewarded for their commitment and participation and will get to see their Blue Bomber Player Mentors in action.  These games will also allow an opportunity for 4Life children to interact with positive role models including Winnipeg Police officers; cadets and teachers who will attend the games with them.

As a result of the success of the program, 4Life and the Winnipeg Police Service have recently formed a new partnership with the Pine Creek Reserve.  Considering that many of the children transition from Pine Creek into our city schools, this additional program will provide support the children and our communities as a whole.

The support of organizations such as the Grey Hound Bus Lines, who will be supplying the transportation to the games, and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers organization, will help ensure our youth succeed.
