ASSAULT - C13-220810
On October 27, 2013 at approximately 5:30 a.m. emergency personnel were dispatched to an apartment complex in the 400 block of Webb Place for the report of a male having been assaulted.
 
Attending members located a 59 year old security guard suffering from injuries resulting from being physically assaulted.  He was transported to hospital in critical condition.
 
Investigation has revealed that in the course of his duties the security guard had come across an adult male and female drinking in the lobby.  When asked to leave, the male suspect proceeded to assault the victim after which both suspects fled.
 
Several people were taken into custody but were later released without charge.
 
The male suspect is described as: Caucasian with darker skin, 30-40 years of age, 5'10" tall with a larger build and short dark hair wearing a white hoody with sparkle designs and crowns.
 
The female suspect is described as: Aboriginal in appearance, 20-30 years of age, 5'9" tall with a skinny build and long dark straight hair wearing a button up black leather jacket and black boots up to her knees.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter or the identity of the suspect(s) is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
