PAROLE REVOCATION WARRANT – ARREST   C14-20188
On January 28, 2014 at 1:35 a.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the 300 block of Bowman Avenue regarding reports of a wanted male who had just fled from a residence.
 
The suspect was tracked by Canine, accompanied by Patrol members and Air1. Officers pursued the male southbound on Brazier Street toward Poplar Avenue. The suspect continued westbound on Poplar Avenue toward Henderson Highway.
 
Within 30 minutes, the male was located in the area of Henderson Highway and Mighton Avenue.
 
Andrew LOWE, 24 year-old was arrested and detained at the Provincial Remand Centre.
 
 
COMMERCIAL ROBBERY   C14-19486
On January 27, 2014, at 3:40 a.m., two male suspects entered a convenience store located in the 400 block of Edison Avenue and confronted a 45 year-old male clerk.
 
The suspects began shouting at staff and jumped over the counter. They eventually fled after robbing the business of an undisclosed amount of merchandise.
 
No one injured.
 
There are no suspect descriptors available at this time.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit.
