DRUG WARRANT ARRESTS                      C14-22828
 
On January 31, 2014 at approximately 7:30 P.M, members of the Winnipeg Police Service Division 13 units were dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of Woodbine Avenue for an unrelated matter.
 
Upon entering the residence, a marihuana grow operation was discovered. A search warrant was obtained and as a result, numerous marihuana live plants, dry marihuana, and grow operation equipment was seized.
 
As a result, two adult females and one adult male are facing charges of Production of Marihuana and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.
 
All were released on Promise to Appears for future court appearances.
 
 
SHOTS FIRED                                               C14-23068
 
On February 1, 2014 at approximately 12:45 A.M members of The Winnipeg Police Service were dispatched to the area of Gertie Street and McDermot Avenue in regards to shots fired.
 
Upon attending the investigation revealed that a group of individuals were present, one of whom fired a gun into the ground several times.
 
Evidence was seized at the scene and no suspects have been identified.
 
Division 11 Detectives are continuing with the investigation.
 
No injuries or damage have been reported.
