Commercial Robbery Investigation - C14-94864
On May 9, 2014 at approximately 11:50 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a gas bar located in the 500 block of Pembina Highway regarding a robbery incident.
 
A male suspect confronted the 25 year-old-male employee and demanded money from him. The employee was not injured and the suspect fled the area on foot with the employee's property.
 
The suspect is described as: male, Caucasian, in his mid-twenties, 5'7"- 5'8" tall, slender build, brown eyes, short brown hair, wearing a green shirt and plaid pants.

 

The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit.
 
Anyone with information regarding the identity or the location of the suspect is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
 
The suspect is not to be approached under any circumstance.
 

Assault Investigation – C14-107260
On May 25, 2014 at approximately 2:20 a.m., officers responded to a bar located in the 400 block of River Avenue regarding a serious assault.
 
Attending members located a 31 year-old male who had sustained serious upper body injuries after being assaulted by a group of male suspects outside the bar.
 
The investigation has revealed that up to six male suspects were involved. They are described as being: Asian in appearance.
 
The victim is in stable condition.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the West District Crime Unit. Anyone with information regarding the incident or further details about the suspects involved is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-2877 or Crime Stoppers 204-786-TIPS (8477).
 
 
Update - Assault Investigation - C14-104634
As previously released -On Thursday, May 22, 2014 at approximately 3:45 a.m., emergency personnel responded to the 100 block of Osborne Street regarding an assault in progress.
 
The investigation has revealed that an adult male sustained multiple injuries due to a serious assault and was transported to hospital in critical condition. He has been upgraded to stable. 
 
No arrests have been made at this time.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the West District Crime Unit. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-2877 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
