Public Assistance Required – Stolen Vehicle – Missing Dogs – C15-12933
On January 19, 2015 at approximately 6:30 a.m., officers responded to the area of Parkville Drive for the report of several dogs running loose in the complainant's yard.
 
Officers attended and recovered eight dogs.
 
Soon after, officers discovered that an ambulance style vehicle had been stolen from the 2900 block of Pembina Highway earlier in the morning while containing ten canine detection dogs.
 
At this time, two of the dogs remain missing and are believed to be running loose in the south Pembina Highway or Parkville Drive area of the city.
 
Missing are:
 
1 x yellow Labrador (5 years old) named Titan wearing a silver choke collar
1 x silver Labrador (7 months old) named Bailey wearing a yellow collar
 
These dogs are used to detect bed bugs and are considered friendly.
 
If anyone locates Titan or Bailey, they are asked to contact police at 204-986-6222.
