Missing Person – Corrina MONKMAN – R14-93722  
The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting the public's assistance in locating missing 
17-year-old female, Corrina MONKMAN.
 
MONKMAN was last seen on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 in the North End area of Winnipeg.
 

 
MONKMAN is described as: Aboriginal, 5'7" tall, approximately 185 pounds with medium length black hair. She was last seen wearing a grey winter jacket, black jeans, purple shirt and red and white Adidas runners.
 
Investigators are concerned for MONKMAN'S wellbeing.
 
Anyone with information regarding MONKMAN'S whereabouts is asked to contact the Winnipeg Police Service Missing Persons Unit at 204-986-6250. 

 
Assault Police Officer Arrest – C15-12690
On January 18, 2015, at approximately 4:45 p.m., Auxiliary Cadet Members were assigned to a special event taking place in the area of the 300 block of Portage Avenue.
 
While patrolling on foot, Cadet Members observed an intoxicated adult male causing a disturbance by yelling at pedestrians and challenging them to fight.
 
While in the area of Portage Avenue and Donald Street, Cadets took custody of the male under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act. While in the process of detaining him, the suspect proceeded to punch one of the Cadets in the upper body.
 
The male was restrained with the assistance of a witness in the area. The Cadet sustained minor injuries.
 
Shawn Stewart BRAND, 39 years-old of Winnipeghas been charged with the following due to his alleged involvement:
 
Assault a peace officer
LGCA – Disorderly conduct in or around licensed premises
 
He was remanded into custody.
