Indecent Act Update – C15-102084
As previously released, on May 19, 2015 at approximately 8:00 p.m., a 15-year-old female was walking in a parking lot located in the 1400 block of Portage Avenue when she was approached by an unknown male in a vehicle.
 
The male suspect asked the female if she needed a ride which she declined. It was at this time the female observed the male exposing himself. The female and suspect left the area and no contact was made.
 
The suspect below is described as: East Indian in appearance, in his 20's, dark complexion, medium build, short black hair and a short beard around his jawline. He was wearing: a short sleeved black striped shirt.

The vehicle below (actual suspect vehicle) is described as: a silver 2014 4-door Toyota Corolla.

The investigation is continuing by members of the West District Crime Unit. Anyone with information regarding the incident or the suspect is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-2877 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
 
 
Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision – C15-108115
On May 26, 2015, shortly after 10:00 p.m. emergency personnel were dispatched to the intersection of Lee Boulevard and Waverley Street for the report of a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle.
 
The driver of the motorcycle, a 19-year-old male from Winnipeg, was located at the scene suffering from serious injuries suffered in the collision.  He was transported to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.  His name is not being released.
 
Initial investigation by members of the Central Traffic Unit has revealed that the motorcycle was travelling northbound on Waverley at high rate of speed when it struck a southbound vehicle which was turning east onto Lee.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the Central Traffic Unit.
