Sexual Exploitation Investigation – R15-1781
On October 29th, 2014 members of the Counter Exploitation Unit commenced an investigation into the historical sexual exploitation of an adult female victim.
 
The victim disclosed to investigators that when she was 12-years-old she was exploited on a regular basis by a number of adult males, with the incidents coming to an end when she was 17-years-old. During this time, the males involved would provide the victim with cash in exchange for sexual services. None of the suspects in this matter were related to the victim, although several were acquainted with the victim's family. The incidents all occurred in the City of Winnipeg. As a result of the investigation, a total of thirteen adult males ranging in age from 41-69 years were identified and arrested. They have been charged with the following offences:
 
Obtain Sexual Services of a Person Under 18 years
Sexual Interference
Sexual Assault
Invitation to Sexual Touching
 
The thirteen suspects were released on Promise's to Appear.
