Stolen Vehicle Arrests – R15-42331
On June 7, 2015, sometime during the early morning hours, a Jeep Liberty was stolen from a residence located in the 700 block of Brazier Street.
 
On June 14, 2015, near midnight, East District Patrol members encountered the stolen vehicle and pursued it while in the area of Henderson Highway and Chief Peguis Trail. Air 1 and Canine were notified.
 
Due to the manner of driving by the suspect, the stolen vehicle became involved in a collision causing property damage at the rear of the 400 block Springfield Road.
 
No serious injuries were reported.
 
A 21-year-old male and 17-year-old male were arrested by Patrol members.
 
As a result, they are facing the following charges:
 
21-year-old
Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000.00
Flight while Pursued by Peace Officer
Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
HTA – Drive without licence or with invalid licence
 
17-year-old
Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime
Fail to Comply with Sentence
Fail to Comply with Condition of an Undertaking
 
Both males were remanded into custody.
