Sexual Assault Investigation – C15-147664
On July 15, 2015, shortly before 2:00 a.m. the Winnipeg Police Service received the report of a sexual assault that had just occurred.

Officers met with the 17-year-old victim who advised that she had been walking in the 1st 100 block of Park Lane when an unknown male on a bike rode up and began a conversation.  The suspect and victim attended to a nearby area where he grabbed the victim and proceeded to commit a serious sexual assault upon her after which he fled on the bike.

The victim was able to make her way to a nearby store where police were contacted.

The suspect is described as: male, 20-30 years of age, approximately 5'9" tall, average build, no facial hair, tattoo on neck and a piercing over his left eye. He was wearing a white shirt, black shorts with red stripes on each side. The bicycle the male was riding possibly had headphones or speakers on it.

The investigation is continuing by members of the Sex Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-6245 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
