Robbery Investigation – Public Assistance
Requested – C15-209219

On October 4, 2015, at approximately 11:30 a.m. the Winnipeg Police Service received the report of a robbery that had just occurred in the 600 block of Pacific Avenue.

Officers met with the driver who advised that prior to dropping off his fare, the below pictured male assaulted him and then stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

Attempts to identify the suspect have been unsuccessful and investigators are requesting the publics' assistance in identifying him.




The investigation is continuing by members of the Division 11 Crime Unit.  Anyone with information regarding this incident or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-6649 or CrimeStoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).


Assault Investigation – Public Assistance

On October 8, 2015 at approximately 1:30 p.m., a 21-year-old female was travelling on a transit bus in the area of Marion Street when she was confronted by an unknown male.

The female was sitting and talking on her cellular phone when she felt something on the back of her head. She turned around and discovered that an unknown male spit on her. The male began yelling at her when he abruptly grabbed her hair causing her to come out of her seat.

Other passengers attempted to intervene when the suspect assaulted her further in the upper body causing injury.

Another passenger pushed the suspect off the bus, at which time the driver was notified. The victim made her way home and contacted the Winnipeg Police Service.

The suspect is described as: male, Aboriginal in appearance, 45-50 years-old, approximately 5'8" tall.




The investigation is continuing by members of the East District Crime Unit. Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-2868 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
