Child Sexual Abuse Imagery Arrest – R15-70986
Members of the Winnipeg Police Service Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) and Technological Crimes Units have recently been involved in an investigation regarding a male accessing and distributing child pornography.

As a result of the investigation, investigators applied for and were granted a search warrant for a residence in the 400 block of Webb Place.  The warrant was executed on October 7, 2015, at which time the suspect was located and arrested.

A 65-year-old male of Winnipeg is facing charges of Possession of Child Pornography, Accessing Child Pornography and Make Available Child Pornography for his alleged involvement.

He was released via a Promise to Appear.


Assault Investigation – C15-212127
On October 8, 2015, at 8:00 a.m. emergency personnel were dispatched to the 400 block of Flora Avenue for the report of an injured person.

An adult female, suffering serious injury, was located and transported to hospital in critical condition.

The investigation is in its early stages and no further information is available at this time.
