Drug Investigation Arrests – C15-210664
Recently, members of the East District Crime and Community Support Units along with the Canine Unit entered into an investigation regarding two individuals involved in the sale of Fentanyl.

On October 6, 2015, the two suspects were located and arrested in the 200 block of St Anne's Road.  At the time of arrest, the following was located and seized:

  • 81 grams of Fentanyl powder
  • 25 Hydromorphine pills
  • 5 Restoril pills
  • 6 Fentanyl pills (80mg)
  • $17,455.00 in Canadian currency
  • Drug paraphernalia

The seized drugs have an estimated street value of $10,000.00.

For their alleged involvement, Grayson Richard PARRIS (36) and Lauren Sara ZEGARAC (33), both of Winnipeg have been charged with the following:

  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (FENTANYL)
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (HYDROMORPHONE)
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (RESTORIL)
  • Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime.

 Both were detained in custody.
