Officer Involved Shooting – C15234144
On Friday, November 6, 2015 at approximately 12:30 p.m. Winnipeg Police came in contact with a male driving a vehicle in the area of Grant Avenue and Kenaston Boulevard.
At approximately 1:15 p.m. a firearm was discharged by police in the area near this intersection. One adult male was struck and emergency first aid was administered. The male has been transported to hospital.
This incident is still unfolding and traffic flows will be interrupted in the area of Grant Avenue and Kenaston Boulevard.
The Independent Investigation Unit of Manitoba has been notified, pursuant to the Manitoba Police Services Act.
