Drug Investigation Arrests – C15-247378
The Winnipeg Police Service is committed to addressing issues related to street level gangs, drug activity and associated violence.
   
As a result, members of the Street Crimes Unit with the assistance of the Tactical Support Team and Division 13 Community Support Unit executed a Controlled Drug and Substance Act search warrant at a suite located in the 400 block of Furby Street.
   
A search of the residence revealed the following items which have been seized by investigators:
   
12 gauge shotgun and ammunition
.22 calibre rifle and ammunition
2 x bear spray
Taser
3 x pellet guns
64 grams of marihuana – valued at $640.00
9 grams of methamphetamine – valued at $1350.00
7 MDMA – valued at $70.00
$25,000.00 cash
Other miscellaneous drug related paraphernalia
   
Courtney EVANS, 19-years-old, Sabrina TYSON, 38-years-old, Susan SANDY, 35-years-old, Adrian SCOTT, 29-years-old and a 68-year-old male have been charged or facing numerous drug and weapon related charges due to their alleged involvement.  
   
All of the accused named above were remanded into custody.
