Wednesday, December 16, 2015     Drug and Weapons Arrests – R15-92421 Recently, members of the Winnipeg Police Service Street Crime Unit became involved in a drug investigation regarding the trafficking of drugs at a residence in the 1100 block of Tanner Street.  As a result, officers obtained a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant. On December 8th, with the assistance of the Tactical Support Team and Patrol members, the warrant was executed. A 19-year-old male, located within the residence, was arrested without incident. A search resulted in the seizure of the following: ·       30 grams of Cocaine with an estimated street value of $2400.00 ·       16 grams of Marihuana with an estimated street value of $160.00 ·       Drug paraphernalia ·       Loaded .45 calibre semi-automatic handgun ·       Loaded .22 calibre revolver ·       Bear spray The investigation continued and on December 15th, 2015, investigators located and arrested two other involved individuals. Tristan James Reeve SMITH, 19-years-old a 44-year-old female and 48-year-old male all of Winnipeg are facing numerous weapon and drug related charges. Tristan SMITH was remanded into custody.
