Friday, December 4, 2015             2016 Winnipeg Police Service Business Plan       Today, the Winnipeg Police Service presents the 2016 Business Plan to the Winnipeg Police Board.       The development of this Plan is the result of an extensive and collaborative effort that has involved our community, Service members and various stakeholder groups.       The Plan outlines the goals identified by the Winnipeg Police Board, and the related objectives that the Service will strive to achieve during the coming year. These goals and objectives will direct Service members as they work to create a culture of safety for all by partnering with our community to preserve peace, prevent crime, assist victims and enforce laws, thereby building safe and healthy communities across our city.       With a strong focus on crime prevention through social development the Plan ensures the Service remains committed to our Mission and Service Values.
