Tuesday, January 26, 2016         Commercial Robbery – C16-17329 On January 26, 2016 at approximately 2:00 a.m., a lone male suspect entered a convenience store located in the 1300 block of Henderson Highway and confronted an employee while armed with a weapon.     As a result of the robbery, the suspect fled with a quantity of merchandise. The employee was not injured and the suspect fled from the store in a northbound direction.     The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 35-years-old, 5'5"- 5'6" tall and clean shaven.     Members of the Major Crimes Unit continue to investigate.     Anyone with further information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).         Commercial Robbery Arrest – C16-16607 On January 25, 2016 at approximately 4:00 a.m., a male suspect, while concealing his identity attended to a convenience store located in the 1300 block of Main Street.     Once inside, the armed suspect confronted an employee and demanded cash. The suspect eventually fled and a passing cruiser was alerted to the robbery. The suspect was pursued by officers and arrested a short distance away.     The stolen cash and a weapon were recovered.
