Fire Investigation C16-31424
On February 14, 2016 at approximately 11:10 a.m., emergency personnel responded to a working fire at a business located in the 400 block of St. Mary's Road.
   
Upon arrival, a fully engulfed building was observed. While members of the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service extinguished the blaze, members of the Winnipeg Police Service closed area roadways and evacuated nearby residences.
   
No injuries were reported.
   
Damage is estimated at excess $1,000,000.00.
   
The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time. Members of the Winnipeg Police Service Arson Unit continue to investigate.
