Commercial Robbery Arrests – C16-34507
On February 18, 2016, shortly after 7:30 p.m. Winnipeg Police Service members were dispatched to the 1400 block of Henderson Highway for the report of a commercial robbery that had just occurred.
   
Several units, including K-9 attended and the two suspects were located and arrested without incident. 
   
Members of the East District Crime Unit continued with the investigation.
   
Stefan Donat MCKENZIE, 29 years of Winnipeg has been charged with Robbery, Fail to Comply with Probation Order and Fail to Comply Condition Recognizance x 2 for his alleged involvement.
   
He was detained in custody.
   
A 25-year-old female of Winnipeg is facing a charge of Robbery for her alleged involvement.
   
She was released via a Promise to Appear.
   
   
Marihuana Grow Operation Arrest – R16-4735
On February 18, 2016, members of the Marihuana Grow Operation Unit, along with uniform and Tactical Support Team members executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence in the 300 block of Selkirk Avenue.  A lone male was located within and arrested without incident.
   
A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of the following:

  • 54 Marihuana plants with an estimated street value of $60,480.00
  • 337.7 grams of dried Marihuana with an estimated street value of $3,377.00
  • 1 gram of Cannabis Resin with an estimated street value of $20.00
  • 0.1 gram of Methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $20.00
  • Grow equipment valued at $2,035.00

For his alleged involvement, a 44-year-old male of Winnipeg is facing several drug related charges.
   
He was released via a Promise to Appear.
