Arson Arrest – C16-80893
On April 24, 2016 at approximately 5:00 p.m. Winnipeg Police general patrol units responded to a report of a commercial break and enter occurring in the first 100 block of Sinawik Bay.  Officers arrived at the site, which was a condominium project under construction.
   
With the assistance of a canine unit police were able to locate a suspect a short distance away.
   
A 16-year-old male youth, from Winnipeg, will be charged with the following offences:
   
  -       Break and Enter
  -       Arson – Damage to Property
  -       Mischief Under $5,000 x 2
  -       Possess Incendiary Material
   
He was released on a Promise to Appear.
