Wednesday, May 25, 2016 Strong-arm Robbery Investigation – Public Assistance Requested – C16-98024 On May 16, 2016 at approximately 5:30 p.m., Winnipeg Police received a report of a Strong-arm Robbery which occurred within a business in the 400 block of Portage Ave. The 24-year-old female was accosted by a male suspect who then fled the area with the victim's purse. As a result of the attack, the female suffered minor injuries. The suspect is described as: Aboriginal male, 30-35 years of age, 5'10" in height, medium build, short black hair, tattoo on the right side of his neck, wearing sunglasses, black baseball cap, blue jeans and carrying a backpack.    This investigation is continuing by members of the Division 11 Crime Unit.
