Male Wanted – Aggravated Assault Investigation – C16-104513
   
Public Assistance Requested:
   
On May 24, 2016 at approximately 8:40 a.m., emergency personnel responded to the area of the first 100 block of Omands Creek Boulevard regarding a stabbing incident.
   
A 59 year old male was stabbed in the upper body due to a confrontation involving a 36 year old male suspect.
   
The suspect fled and the victim was transported to hospital.
   
As a result, David Michael HARDISTY, 36 years is currently wanted due to his alleged involvement. He is described as: Aboriginal, 5'11" tall, 188 pounds, medium build and short dark hair.
   
At the time of the incident, he was wearing a reversible reflective-type jacket.   
   
   
   
Members of the West District Crime Unit continue to investigate. Anyone with information regarding HARDISTY'S whereabouts is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-2842, Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477) or 204-986-2877.
   
HARDISTY is not to be approached, if located, call police immediately.
