Body Recovered From Red River – C16-93867
On May 11, 2016 at approximately 10:10 a.m., emergency personnel responded to the banks of the Red River in the area of the 400 block of Scotia Street regarding a body being located.   
   
The body was observed floating in a northbound direction and eventually recovered by members of the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service.
   
At this time, the deceased is identified as a male. The identity of the male is still unknown.
   
An autopsy is pending and the cause of death is unconfirmed.
