Update – Shooting Investigation Arrest – C16-96890
As previously released - On May 15, 2016, at approximately 6:30 a.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a shooting incident where it was determined that 3 people were injured.

Officers learned that 3 of 5 victims were shot while inside a vehicle in the area of Magnus Avenue and Aikins Street. After the incident, the victims fled to a hospital nearby where they received care due to their injuries.

It was determined that two male suspects in another vehicle produced a shotgun and discharged it in the direction of the victims. All of the victims are in stable condition.

On June 2, 2016, Bryce Alexander KEATING, 18 years old was located at a residence on College Avenue and charged with the following due to his alleged involvement:

Attempt to Commit Murder Using a Firearm x 5
Careless Use of a Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition
Possession of a Weapon
Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
Possession of a Prohibited Device Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
Pointing a Firearm x 5
Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in a Motor Vehicle
Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition

The investigation continued by members of the Major Crimes Unit. As a result, the second suspect was arrested on July 1, 2016 in the Elmwood area of the city involving the Tactical Support Team and East District Patrol members.

Clifford John JOBB, 27 years old has been charged with the following due to his alleged involvement:

Attempt to Commit Murder Using a Firearm x 5
Careless Use of a Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition
Possession of a Weapon
Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in a Motor Vehicle
Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
Possession of Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Probation Order x 2

Both males were remanded into custody.
