Fire Investigation – C16-143893
On July 12, 2016 at approximately 1:50 a.m., emergency personnel responded to a residence located in the 400 block of Lansdowne Avenue regarding a fire event.
   
District 3 Patrol and Canine Unit members attended observing the residence to be engulfed in flames and determined that two occupants remained inside. Officers located a ladder nearby and assisted two females to safety through a second floor window.
   
The fire was extinguished by members of the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
