Update - Sexual Assault Investigation Arrest – C16-144338
As previously released, on July 12, 2016 at approximately 5:20 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to an incident where a 46 year old female victim had been assaulted while in the area of the 300 block of Portage Avenue.
   
Further information indicated that prior to the assault, the victim observed an unknown male performing an indecent act.  After indicating that she was calling police, the suspect assaulted her causing her to fall to the ground.
   
The suspect fled and the victim was treated for minor injuries.
   
Soon after, additional groping incidents and indecent acts were reported to police in the same area.
   
Members of the Sex Crimes Unit entered into an investigation.  On August 9, a twenty year old male, Moses Bradley Swan of Winnipeg was charged with Sexual Assault X 6, Assault cause bodily harm, as well as failing to comply with court orders.
   
   
Update - Robbery Investigation Arrests – C16-164754
As released yesterday, on August 8, 2016, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Winnipeg Police general patrol units responded to a report of a disturbance in the area of The Forks Market.
   
Officers arrived to find several victims had been confronted by multiple suspects who were armed with a variety of weapons. 
   
Members of Division 11 General Patrol, Tactical Support Unit and the Canine Unit became involved in the investigation, located and arrested 4 male suspects: 
   
-Chris GOOD, 21 years, of Winnipeg,
-Erick HENDERSON, 24 years, of Winnipeg,
-James MONTOYA-MARTINEZ, 24 years, of Winnipeg,  
-Andrew PANGILINAN, 25 years, of Winnipeg.
   
All 4 suspects were charged with:
   
Robbery X2
Assault
Assault cause bodily harm
Uttering threats X2
Extortion
Possession of a weapon
Mischief over $5,000
Assault with a weapon X4
