Friday, August 19, 2016   Homicide Arrest – C16-170088 As previously released, on August 16, 2016 at approximately 9:55 a.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a residence located in the 300 block of Bannerman Avenue regarding a deceased male being located. The victim was identified as Eugene Allan HARRIS, 62 years of Winnipeg.  An autopsy determined the victim suffered injuries consistent with an assault. Members of the Homicide Unit identified a suspect in connection with the incident.  Vincent Morin, 31 years of Winnipeg, has been charged with Manslaughter.  Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477). Sudden Death –C16-172225 At approximately 2:30 a.m. on August 19, 2016, officers responded to the report of an unconscious female in the 400 block of Cumberland Avenue.
