Update:  Missing Person – Christine WOOD - C16-174340

The Winnipeg Police Service continues to request the public's assistance in locating 21 year old, Christine WOOD.

Previously it had been reported that Christine was last seen on Friday, August 19, 2016 in the downtown area of Winnipeg.  Since that time, a number of potential sightings have been reported to investigators. Christine has possibly been observed in the Osborne Village area, downtown near Portage Place, North End and St. James, east of Polo Park.



Christine is described as an Aboriginal female, 5'6" in height, average build with shoulder length hair, possibly dyed red.  WOOD was last seen wearing a green top with a red striped Adidas jacket over top, denim shorts and carrying a white purse.

This investigation is on-going and anyone with any information regarding Christine's whereabouts is asked to continue to contact the Winnipeg Police Service Missing Persons Unit at 204-986-6250.
