Motor Vehicle Collision - C16-201461
   
Pedestrian Injured:
   
On September 26, 2016 at approximately 10:00 p.m., emergency personnel responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian and dump truck while in the area of Chalmers Avenue and Watt Street.
   
At this time, it appears that the truck was travelling northbound on Watt Street approaching Chalmers Avenue. As the truck was making a right hand turn, the pedestrian was struck.
   
A 53 year old female was transported to hospital in unstable condition, later upgraded to stable.
   
The roadway was closed for approximately two hours.  
   
The driver has been identified and is cooperating. Charges will be considered once the investigation is complete.
