Update:  Missing Person – Christine WOOD - C16-174340

The Winnipeg Police Service is continuing to request the public's assistance in locating missing 21 year old, Christine WOOD.

As previously shared, Christine was last seen during the evening of Friday evening, August 19, 2016. She has spent time for the past few years in Winnipeg and in Oxford House, Manitoba, having friends and family in both areas. A number of potential sightings in the Osborne Village area, downtown Winnipeg, North End and St. James area east of Polo Park have been reported to investigators. At present, Christine is facing some personal challenges in her life causing on-going concern for her well-being. The Missing Persons Unit is continuing to request the help of anyone who may have pertinent knowledge as to Christine's whereabouts to come forward and assist. 

WOOD is described as an Aboriginal female, 5'6" tall, average build with shoulder length dark brown hair. WOOD was last seen wearing a green top with a red striped Adidas jacket over top, denim shorts and carrying a white purse. Further, Christine has a chipped upper left lateral incisor tooth.






Police are concerned for Christine's well-being and are asking anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to contact the Winnipeg Police Service Missing Persons Unit at 204-986-6250 or 204-986-6222.
