Historic Sexual Assault – Arrests: R16-62896
On October 19, 2016, the Winnipeg Police Service – Child Abuse Unit arrested a 78-year-old male in regards to allegations of historic sexual assault. The allegations concern four male victims who were between the ages of 10 and 12-years-old when the assaults began. The assaults occurred at various locations within Winnipeg, beginning in 1981 and spanned a period more than ten years.
   
Ronald Joseph LÉGER, has been charged with Sexual Assault x 8. He was detained in custody.
