Serious Assault Investigation - C16-214582
On October 14, 2016 at approximately 2:30 a.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the 300 block of Maryland Street regarding an injured male and possible gun related incident.
   
Attending members located an adult male with injuries consistent with being stabbed. He was conveyed to hospital by members of the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service in critical condition, later upgraded to stable.
   
The investigation led officers to a suite located in the 300 block of Agnes Street where two males were taken into custody.
   
A second male has been identified, having sustained upper body injuries. He is in stable condition.
   
The investigation is continuing by Division 11 Detectives. Interviews are on-going and charges are pending. Further details will be provided as they become available.
