Stabbing Arrests - C17-0009684
On January 15, 2017, at approximately 12:40 a.m., emergency personnel responded to a stabbing incident that occurred in the area of the 1100 block Munroe Avenue.
   
It appears that a party had taken place when a 21-year-old male was confronted by two other males in a common area within an apartment block.
   
For reasons unconfirmed, a fight erupted when one of the suspects produced a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times.
   
Attending members located the victim in critical condition. He was transported to hospital and has since stabilized.
   
The two adult male suspects were located and arrested by Patrol members. Members of the Major Crimes Unit have since taken over the investigation.
   
The suspects, a 19-year-old male and 20-year-old male are now facing the following charges:
   
Aggravated Assault
Possess Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
   
They were detained in custody.
