Sudden Death Investigation - C17-0048504
On March 8, 2017 at approximately 7:20 p.m., officers responded to the 700 block of William Avenue regarding two unresponsive adults.

The deceased have been identified as a 31 year old female and 23 year old male.

Although drug paraphernalia was located, the cause of death has not been confirmed.

The investigation is continuing.


Stolen Vehicle Arrests - C17-0048296
During the afternoon of March 8, 2017, a stolen Chevrolet Equinox with several occupants was observed by District 3 uniform patrol officers in the area of Alfred Avenue and Andrews Street.

The driver of the stolen vehicle sped off in attempt to evade police. The vehicle was noted to be travelling at a high rate of speed having no regard for public safety.

As a result, the Chevrolet Equinox collided with a Grand Am and Chevrolet Venture in the area of Alfred Avenue and Salter Street. A female occupant of the Venture sustained injuries and is in stable condition.

Two of the occupants in the stolen vehicle fled on foot, the remaining suspects were arrested without further incident.

Officers pursued the two suspects on foot and were taken into custody a short distance away.

A 23 year old male, 31 year old male, 18 year old female and 29 year old male are facing numerous offences in relation to the stolen vehicle, fleeing from police and being in possession of weapons at the time of their arrest.
