Homicide – Arrest: C17-71900
On April 10, 2017, at approximately 3:10 a.m., Winnipeg Police responded to the 400 block of Camden Place in response to a 911 call.
   
The first officer to arrive located a female in her fifties who was suffering from serious upper body injuries. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
   
A short time later police arrested a female in her forties who was also a resident on Camden Place.
   
Brenda Lee SCHUFF, 44-years-old, has been charged with Second Degree Murder.

Schuff has been detained in custody.
   
Arson – Investigation: C17-72439
On April 11, 2017, at approximately 11:00 p.m., Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Services (WFPS) and Winnipeg Police responded to Harbourview Golf Course at 1867 Springfield Road for a report of a working fire. Crews arrived to find the play structure at this location on fire.
   
There were no injuries. Damage is estimated at $200,000. The Winnipeg Police Arson Unit is investigating.  
   
This investigation is continuing by members of the Arson Unit. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-6813 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
